Stone Pavilion

A garden pavilion of load-bearing limestone, cooled by mass and shade.

Drawing on the thermal logic of vernacular desert architecture, the Stone Pavilion is built entirely from solid limestone blocks. Deep reveals and a perforated screen temper the harsh light, casting shifting patterns across the floor.

There is no mechanical cooling. The building breathes through its geometry — a contemporary reading of an ancient intelligence.
